1. Who we are

AntCABar provides online study materials for the California Bar Examination at antcabar.com. AntCABar is provided by INTELLISTUDY LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16344169), whose registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). AntCABar is part of the AntLaw family of legal-education products.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; sharing access is not permitted.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel: Monthly every month, One exam cycle every three months and Full Cycle every year. Each renewal is charged at your plan's price at the time of renewal. Full Cycle and founding prices stay locked while your subscription is continuous. If the price of your plan changes, we tell you before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does.

We email you 30, 7 and 1 day before a Full Cycle renewal, 7 days and 1 day before a One exam cycle renewal, and once a year before a Monthly renewal, with your plan, its price and how to cancel. Prices are in U.S. dollars. You can stop auto-renewal at any time from your account page (Manage billing); access continues until the end of the paid period and you are not charged again.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe for INTELLISTUDY LTD, and charges appear on your card statement as INTELLISTUDY. We never see or store your full card number.

4. Access starts immediately; payments are final

You can try AntCABar free before you buy (chapter 1 of every subject, 10 MBE questions a day and your first essay with AI feedback). When you buy a plan, you ask us to start your access immediately, and you acknowledge that you then lose any right to cancel and that all payments, including renewals, are non-refundable once access starts, except charges made in error. We do not refund unused time. Printed books are printed to order: unless the law where you live gives you a right to cancel (in the UK and the EU, 14 days from delivery), they cannot be returned for a change of mind, and a faulty, damaged or misprinted book is replaced or refunded. The Full Cycle extension to the next sitting moves your renewal date and is extra access, not a refund. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. The details are in our Refund Policy.

5. Content and license

All textbooks, questions, explanations and videos are our copyrighted work or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own bar preparation. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute or resell them.

6. No guarantee of results

We work hard to make our materials accurate and effective, but we do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. The State Bar of California is the only authority on eligibility, deadlines and results.

7. Acceptable use

No automated access, no attempts to bypass access controls, no uploading of unlawful content.

8. Termination

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the account page.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email or on the site.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
